RIP JAMEY RODEMEYER

Source: Pinknews.co.uk
18.09.11 a tragedy happened. 14-year old Jamey Rodemeyer, a student at Williamsville North High School just outside New York (US), took his own life after being bullied for being gay. People on his blog told him to kill himself. They told him to end his life. Cause he might as well do it now, cause he's ending up in hell anyway apparently.

This was Jamey, making a video for "It's gets better campaign". He is now dead.

This fumes my anger so much!!! I can't understand how those people that pushed him to doing this can live with themselves. What did this boy EVER do wrong?!? Absolutely nothing! He was being himself and just cause some people are stupidly narrow minded he chose to take his own life.

That's not right!

When I was out in Swansea before the summer a Christian guy stood in Wind Street (the club/pub area). As I walked past he said this: "Even though you are intoxicated and have sin, you can still be saved. Your souls aren't lost like the homosexuals. Un-pure and sinful beeings they are" My friend had to grab my arm, cause I so wanted to punch his face!  I'm all for freedom of speech and the right to believe to in whatever religion you'd like, but don't push it at me like that!

So I say, this only means we have to show the world that this is NOT accepted in any shape or form! We will never forget! We will always stay true and make sure Jamey did not completely die in vain and try to make sure that we look out for each other. People have only one life, one life, that's it. Someone took Jameys.

CLIMBING FOR HALLOWEEN

Sorry I haven't updated lately, been some busy days. Been working with my charity project, student union and Freshers fortnight.

Today I had a great time, went climbing. Well I also realized that I'd forgotten all my climbing gear in Norway, harness, shoes, B-lay, hooks etc. Sometimes I even amaze myself.... When I reached one of the tops I thought "I feel fucking awesome. I feel alive." Felt so good! Hanging on the rocks, trying to get to the top. Fucking awesome!

I also got my rollerblades gear today, helmet and wrist protectors, so hopefully soon I'll get back on my skates :D

I've just finished the Hobgoblin beer, the unofficial Halloween beer. LOVE IT! Have tasted another type before, I think. Anyway, it's awesome. Highly recommended. A tad bit sweet, but not too much.

Which then reminds me, it's 32 days until Halloween! My second favorite holiday after Christmas (86 days). Ever since I've been 11 years old I've celebrated Halloween. The idea of being able to walk around scaring people whilst looking scary like as shit and just being a crazy freak + maybe some candy, fills me with joy.

In college/high school we took Halloween VERY seriously, which made me love the holiday even more. A day a year we get to celebrate the ghouls, ghosts, monsters, spirits, dead etc. I do love vampires! Hate the Twilight version where they glow like diamonds in the sun, but more the Vampire Diaries or Supernatural version. No one, then I mean no one, can deny that Ian Somerhalder is the a very hot vampire....!
Bought this voodo doll in Greece in ehhh.... 2007? And it was the first item to be hung up in my car.
I've orded what I need for my costume this year. It's not a zoombie, cause I've been this for the last three years. Not gonna tell you, but it's gonna be amazing! :D MOHAHAHAHA

Halloween <3 (Then Christmas)

I love The Nightmare Before Christmas! Tim Burton should be given an award... oh wait, he already has a few. I always watch this each Halloween :D Last year when we decorated the halls we had the Nightmare Before Christmas album from Spotify on. We had the best Halloween kitchen ever.

RAISE YOUR GLASS PINKY

I made this originally for my Coming out post, but I wasn't happy with it. Cause I thought I was the most terrible actor ever and some technical stuff that was a bit shit. But my friends and my mom thought that was the thing that made it really funny. And a very wise person said to me yesterday "I wish I had the guts to do that." Then I started thinking; Well maybe I should. To be a good example of a fun (though shit acting) way of exiting the closet.

One of my housemates was basically wetting herself when I showed them the drag queen part.

So here it is! (First I'm a REALLY poor drag queen, or rather an imitation of one, so to all you queens out there; I tried, but I failed, the crown is yours :D )

Me and my friend Marianne had such a laugh filming this! You have no idea xD HAHA!

MUMMY, CAN WE GO TO MCDONALDS?

This is only a handful of the celebrities I could think of that are gay, lesbian or bisexual. It's many. You'll find LGBT theme and subject in MANY series, commercials and films. The logos your under here is some of the companies that's aired LGBT commercials.

I do NOT hold the copyright to any of these logos. They belong to the company and it's corporations.
Here are my favorite commercials:

McDonalds(This one is my ABSOLUTE fav)   MTV

Pepsi                                                               Renault the boy said "papa tu peux nous faire entrer"
means: dad can you help us to get in (in the night club)
and bien dans son epque bien dans sa twingo means
if you are okay in your time (period, era, age, days)
you are also okay in your twingo - source YouTube comments

LGBT charecters in TV series is REALLY common. This is a small handful of action/drama only from 2006 up to now. You can check out a complete list here

The popular British TV series Torchwood. I still haven't started watching that completely. Not so long ago, they aired a gay sex scene that some found too much. BBC have gotten several complaints, but you gotta love their simple reply: "We aim to depict relationships, whether heterosexual or homosexual in an honest and realistic way." BUT I'll say this, regardless of the gender having sex, I think it's a bit wrong cause young kids can watch this on iPlayer in daytime. So maybe they should consider censoring sex scenes, but then again, where is the line? Between a simple quicky with no meaning and a deep love scene which has a great meaning to the series/film?

The VERY popular TV series GLEE, which I also like, has several LGBT characters. If memory serves me right, I think there is five. Where 3 is gay and 2 is bi/lesbians. On the left is a mash of several scenes relating to the characters Britney and Santanas relationship. On the right, is the characters Kurt and Blaine's first kiss.

You see? Ain't that "alien" and "different". All people come in different size and form. That's just who we are. Humans. No more, no less. If people can't accept that fact, I pity them, for not seeing the bigger picture.
