GOING HOME TO SWANSEA

HAPPY WANNABEE-BIRTHDAY TO ME :D
We celebrated my birthday two weeks early since I'm not in Norway on the 13th of May. I'm turning 20, halfway to 40, but let's not dwell on that now... Thanks for all the great gifts and money (to support the buy-a-new-DSLR-before-end-of-June-pot) :D

The plain leaves tomorrow at 11:50 from Rygge, before a 5 hour bus ride from Gatwick airport. It's gonna be good getting back to the daily life and all the people and Swansea. 4 weeks of easter holiday was way too much for me, I'm back home in Norway in 6-7 weeks already, so... Started packing today and I swear my suitcase is smaller now then when I got home to Norway... maybe?

(Yes I know the picture quality is shit, but my DSLR wasn't nearby xD) I'm bringing my inline skates, which I finally located. It's no point having them home in Norway since Åros (my village) is ALL hills and many roads don't have tarmac. Wherever you wanna go somewhere it's in 99% of the cases a hill and in 50% of the cases it's not tarmac, so a bit unpractical. Haven't used it so much in the last two years, so gonna be great. I love inline skating and got my first pair when I was 9 ish and this is my 3rd (?) pair I think, maybe 4th? Forgot that I needed a new brake pad so had to order it, but hopefully I'll have it by Monday, Tuesday latest. And I need knee-, wrist- and elbow protectors cause I have no idea where my old set have gone. I'd rather use wrist protectors than to brake wrist. In Swansea there's a nice 12 km/7,4 miles cycling/walking path down by the beach which is perfect for skating and cycling.

Got my grandmothers old SLR today :D I've been thinking about buying a cheap used SLR 35mm film camera for ages to experiment, but two weeks ago I suddenly realized; HELLO, I can ask my nan! She bought a digital camera ages ago and uses her camera on her phone to take pictures and films, so she doesn't need her film based camera. She said; it's no point for her, cause it's hardly anywhere it can be processed anymore and digital is much easier. So the first thing I'm doing on Sunday is run down to town to buy a load of film and experiment. We've got a processing room and negative scanners in uni I can use. It's something special about film, both for still pictures and moving pictures (which I also wanna try). The picture seems more "alive" and the excitement when you see the finished product. As my teachers have said up through the years, plan your shots! That's what they had to do back in the days when film was the only thing. Film cost money, so you have to think before you shoot. We've all seen the Japanese tourist that takes 22 pictures of the same statue while turning his/hers camera, thinking that at least one picture is gonna turn out good...

Have a GREAT day peeps and I hope each and every one of you have had a great easter holiday!

Q: What have you done in the easter holiday?

Summer is coming people, so get those shorts on and run down to the beach! :D

FEEL THE BASS

Some of you know Christiane, or Trulte, from the wine night we had. Today I visited Hansa, her boyfriend, and her. They came home from Paris last night after an amazing holiday by the sound of it. Nice photo of them on the top. She did forget to buy me a souvnier, but I'll forgive her this time. I love getting souvenirs AND I love giving them too! I did text her saying I wanted one, but she was by the gate. Saw the pictures they took, so beautiful city and the view from the Eiffel Tower.... So want to go to Paris, anyone wanna join? :D

Anyway, had to check out Hansa's stereo in his room. I'm sorry about the shit auido quality, but it's just to show how much the speakers moved and how much bass it was. So lush sitting down and feel it shake in my spine <3

From that to something completely different: Yesterday I made something really cool! Chinese Easter eggs with an twist! They looked amazing, except the fact that I boiled them 3 minutes short, so the egg was a bit soft inside, but never mind.

Aren't they cool?! Found a tutorial for it when I was "stumbling" through the net. For the record Stumble Upon is a great site. You tick the topics that interests you and click stumble and it gives some great sites, the more you use, the better it gets. Anyway, found this recipe because I'd ticked design and food/cooking. You can read the tutorial, but basically what I've done is use food colouring. Check it out and remember to boil the eggs enough!

Remember this one, 1999? The lovely 90's when the whole western world discovered Latino pop.

CINEMA SCI-FY MEETS COMEDY

There several movies coming up in the summer/autumn that I'm looking forward to watch:

I laughed so much when I watch the trailers for The Change-Up and Bridesmaids!!!

Really looking forward to Green Lantern, looks good and one of my favorite actors is in it, Ryan Reynolds. I'm a bit skeptical about the Cowboys and Aliens, but maybe I'll give it a go.

Films that are released in the cinema now which I might watch:

AND the first film I'm going to watch when I finally get back to Swansea is Beastly, which for stupid and idiotic reason is not released her in Norway! After I am number four Alex Pettyfer is also one of my favorite actors (so let's see how long he's gonna stay there)

I swear that some day soon (meaning withing 3 months) that I'm gonna devote my time and blog to the films I love. In the meantime, get going to the cinema people, so much good to watch :D

THE GATHERING DONE

Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days, but just been busy at The Gathering, the biggest LAN party ever. It's in total almost 6000 people gaming, designing and working for 5 days. I worked as a camera operator with some AMAZING people that I really look forward working with next easter too, can't wait :D Such a great experience!

Uploading/downloading seems so SLOW after TG where we had a incredible 100 GB/s connection. In Åros (hometown) we only have a 20 MB/s connection, but that's quick enough, it just seems slower. So uploading the pictures you see above took what felt like ages, haha!

I'm really looking forward to going back next year, can't wait. On TG it's something called "TG-tid" (TG-time) which means that the normal feeling of time doesn't apply. You're "trapped" in a timeboble where time isn't relative and 12:00 can easily feel like 21:00.

I felt a bit sad leaving, but I know that I gonna be back next year. Gunnar, Runar, Johan, Leif and me made a deal; that we have to be in crew for five years and every year one person buys cigars/cigarillos for the group. Gunnar bought this year, so at least four years left (and hopefully many more).

TG

Still working and gonna be working until 2 o'clock, then a quick meeting, before bed. Gonna see if I can manage some more tomorrow :D

THE GATHERING

The Gathering (TG), Norway’s largest computer party, has been held in Vikingskipet, Hamar every easter since 1996. TG has around 5000 participants and attracts growing interest, both nationally and internationally. TG is organized by the non-profit organization KANDU (Kreativ Aktiv Norsk DataUngdom/Creative Active Norwegian Computer Youth).

What I'm doing here, is working as a camera operator as apart of broadcasting unit (over 30 people). Our job is to broadcast 13 hours a day from TG. We don't get paid, but get housing and food AND (the main reason I'm here) it looks great on your CV.

Wanna watch what we're doing?

MORE WINE

More wine! We're testing out Ina's new apartment with vegs, dip and of course, wine <3 First me and Ina went to Mona to have dinner, pancakes YUMMY. Nice to say hello to Lene, Mona's mother, again. Barely made the train to Oslo and here we are, on Majorstuen.   Haven't seen Ina since August, so very nice seeing her again. Gonna see if upload some lovely pictures of us tomorrow.

A real shame that I have to take the 23 bus home... :'(

WINE WINE WINE WINE

Did a great excercise today, 5 km run + 120 situps + 40 leg ups + 5 km run + 120 situps + 40 leg ups + 1,2 km run!! Felt great :D And what not great about jogging in the sunset and moonrise?

I saw 27 frogs on my way around Åros... Åros (my village) is really frog central in the world, almost. In the evening all the frogs go wandering around the waters. So I had to jump away from every dark spot I saw on the ground cause I might step on a frog.

Some lovely pictures from yesterday:

Really enjoyed last night at Christiane's place with Anine, Simen and Christiane. Missed them so much! Looking forward to when they're coming to Swansea. We had a wine, cheese, wine and wine night and yeah some wine, so great night. We had a sleepover and you should had seen us when we crawled out of our rooms, a sight for goods I can tell you that. We had a great breakfast, courtesy of Christiane's mom (thank you), who also crawled out of her room. She got home 04 o'clock, so just one thing to say "Go cougar"! Hehe!

Now I'm watching Glee before going to bed and tomorrow is going to be a perfect day :D

OSLO

Oslo with lovely Marianne, I've missed her :D Forgot to take a picture of us today, so her is a nice old photo.

It was a spontan thing. I called her:

TD: "Hi. What should we do?"
M: "Don't know"
TD: "Go somewhere?"
M: "Shopping"
TD: "Sure, where?"
M: "Oslo?"

And 45 min later we were on the train. Ben & Jerry's have finally come to Oslo, so stopped by there. Mint Chocolate Chunk and Monkey chunks, YUMMMMMY Walked up the high street, Karl Johan, and ended up in a sidestreet where we found the music store Råkk & Råll. OMG! Awesome store! Well over 300 000 LP discs, 10 000 CD's, music magazines and hundreds of DVD/Blu Ray + speakers and amplifiers. I don't have a LP player anymore and I use Spotify, but looked anyway.

BTW, so much gypsy people in the streets now... or wait sorry, Romanians... Begging for money and/or stealing your stuff. I really don't understand why they aren't deported or stopped on the border. They have no business in our country, so why are they allowed in?!? The police should arrest them.

Anyway, the only I bought today was a hat and some sunglasses from H&M. I had a gift card I had to use, so why not? When we got back we went home to her place where I met up with some more lovely people, Anette and Martin.

Now I'm of to bed before a new day, Saturday !

This song is so catchy! We stopped by Monki and this was on :D

We attended Steffen's funeral today. A good service, the priest even told a joke. Felt really sad when I saw the coffin being lowered into the ground :(

I am Number four
Plot summary
I Am Number Four follows the story of John Smith, a 15-year old alien from the planet Lorien, and his guardian, Henri, as they run from the Mogadorians, another race of aliens that are hunting down John and the other eight teenage Loriens, who all make up the Garde, living on Earth. The Garde consists of all Loriens who have special Legacies and powers. The teenagers are protected by a charm, which only allows them to be killed in a set order. John is Number Four. Both the Loriens and Mogadorians have a human appearance.
The book opens with the death of Number Three. Number Four is introduced, going by the name of Daniel Jones, as he leaves Florida. Four has three circular scars wrapped around his right ankle, signifying the deaths of Numbers One, Two and Three. These scars are present on all the Lorien teenagers, and with each death, another scar appears. Henri, Four’s Cêpan (guardian), tells him they are going to Paradise, Ohio. Four chooses the name John Smith as his new alias.
Tired of running, John says that he wants to begin to make a life for himself. Henri reminds him why they run, and the conversation ends. John begins to attend the local high school, where he meets Sarah Hart, a blonde junior. He also meets her ex-boyfriend Mark James, who immediately begins to pick on John. John stands up to him, the first time he has ever stood up to anybody.

I love this book and can't wait until the next one comes out! Pittacus Lore, the author, describes everything is such detail that you can just sit and read on forever. Cause of the way it is written I could imagine every single bit of the story in my head, the characters came to life. This is one of the best fantasy books ...scratch that... one of the best books I've ever read. I can recommend this and encourage you to buy it. You can get it for £4,61/41 kr on Amazon.co.uk. The second book The Power of Six comes out in 2011 and I can't wait!

In the cinemaes now you can see the I am Number Four film, based on the book. This film is also as awesome as the book! Looking forward to 26/06/11 when the film has its DVD/Blu-Ray release (UK according to HMV). Gonna be in Norway then so hope the DVD has the same release date there, I'm gonna run to the store and watch it over and over again :D

It would be awesome to have Johns powers and abilities. Telekinesis, lights and super strength. I've wish for those kind of powers all my life, but I know I'm probably not going to get them in the near future. Fantasy is genre that I love, cause you can escape from the real world and merge yourself into a great book and/or film. I laid down on my bed to read before I went to sleep, but I didn't realize that I'd read for three hours and the time was 1 o'clock.

Thank Dian for writing a review about it and making me wanna read it :D

OUT OF FIREWORK?

Worked on my film today... not for long, cause today I couldn't stand it...

After the woodwork yesterday, today my mind wandered to bushcraft and being out in nature. Up until the last years I unufortunatly didn't think much of being out as much as I do now. If I could go back in time, that's one thing I would have changed. I would have kicked myself out in the forest as a kid and said stay there.

Like I said Get over it. I can't change a thing. Love Bear Gryllss shows on Discovery channel, Man vs. Wild. Looked at loads of other sites and people today. And in the midst of this, I got a rage over me. I just wanted to exploded and don't know why. I just felt stuck, both in life and present. Stuck in modern life. Stuck in this place. Simply stuck.
Bear Grylls - Man vs. Wild - Source: fanpop.com
But I'm gonna try yo improve even more. Go on hikes, bike rides, sleep more outdoors and experience more. Next summer, I'm planning going on inter rail through Europe for 4-6 weeks and have already started saving up money. Like I've said a thousand times before, I want a job were I travel. Travel Channel? Discovery? That's why I need to fight like hell to get there, be at the right place to the right time and grab the opportunity when it presents itself. And I'm probably not so stuck as I imagined, just felt like it today. But it's all down to how you look at it,  is the glass half full or half-empty? No one can tell me I can't be this and that, I need to be myself and be happy with that.

Be yourself, be a firework! :D

Yes I know I had this song last week too, but I like it and it match my feelings/thoughts today.

NORWEGIAN WOOD

Today I got up at 8 to help my mate Espen stack up some wood that he'd chopped down earlier this spring. 5 hours of stacking in poring rain, but it felt great. It's a really good feeling you get after a day of proper physical work. The funny thing is I got the urge to go hiking in the rain, but I didn't. Instead I did some woodwork when I got home. I took a log and gonna make a wooden spoon.

Gonna see if I can manage to finish it tomorrow, but it might have to wait. What you see above took me about  1,5 hours from log to the rough shape of a spoon. I don't have the right carving tools I need here to finish the spoon, my grampa has them. I can at least finish the handle and maybe sand it down. Woodwork is something I've always enjoyed doing, both in arts & crafts class and outside on my spare time, have made LOADS of stuff. Chairs, spoons, butterknife, matchbox holder for the fireplace, cup, a wand (yes I know, Harry Potter geek) and much more over the years.

I'm almost finished with the "I am number four" book and going to give my verdict within the week :D (Thx Dian for the tip on the book)

NOTHING

I feel like I've done almost zero, nada, niks today... I got up at 10, excercised for 30 min, then breakfast, then I sat down in the living room watching Travel channel and the "Thirsty Traveler". I did enjoy it, this show about the island Curacao where they make the drink. Kevin is a great guy and love his shows. Then I did do two hours of work on my film. It's just that I've got a lack of motivation times 10 right now.... Tonight I went up to my mate and former boss to chit chat and have some beers. Tomorrow, well, I'm off to help him chop and stack some wood, cause I don't wanna work on the film right now, I'd rather do some proper physical work!

If you have any motivation, please forward it to me!

Peace out peeps

STEPFORD PERFECT ÅROS

Source: "The Stepford Wives" (2004)
Sometimes I feel like Åros (my village) is like Stepford, a picture perfect place with happy wives, husbands and children. My neighbor is a Stepford wife sometimes and I just look down on her for our garden laughing. Not in a mean way, or wait... no let's say fun way. Today it's Sunday and that means quality family time and housework for the perfect village:

YES she is actually hoovering the STONES outside the entrance! Today she only did the stones straight in front of the door. Last year me and mom stood watching at her, cause she was hoovering the whole courtyard, every single stone. My mum: "Oush.. Do I have to do that?" she was ironic. I swear their grass is 5mm...

That really made my day :D I did a  7,29km run today, so lush! Loads of hills and close to the sea. I really like the smell om the sea, the salt and seaweed and the waves smashing on the rocks. I've almost always lived close to water, I need that. I get calm and can sometimes concentrate easier when I'm on the beach or by water. To dive and look and take pictures of fish and corallreefs or sit on the dock fishing. Summer <3

Have a nice Sunday and enjoy it as long as it lasts, cause tomorrow is Monday... :)

The theme for the party is sports and we're the rally team xD loads of people are coming, 150 ish. I'm going to stay sober so I'm the lucky person that get to drive my mom home around 2-3 o'clock. Well of to the party :) Gonna post some funny pictures later!

Happy birthday Tonje :D

PARCEL FROM 香港 (Hong Kong)

Got the remote timer for my DSLR I ordered from Hong Kong today! It cost 140kr/£15 and free shipping to Norway. I love Hong Kong and their cheap stuff on eBay, so easy. But in the beginning I thought I had a challenge ahead of me:

I don't speak chineese... but took another look in the index and found the English part. Needed to try it out, so decided to make a quick timelapse of the clouds in Åros (my village). I set the fancy and very "expensive" remote to 1 second interval and sat down and waited for the 720 pictures to be taken, then went inside, used After Effects to assemble it and finito.

I'm just looking forward getting back to Swansea so I can finish my timelapse project there, which I've been working on since February. Now I have to focus on my uni film and edit that. Besides that exersiced today, 45 min jog, but that's about it. The wind has been mental all night and didn't give me the greatest sleep of all... Several power lines have been cut by trees and 30 min away from me a school got its roof blown off. So I would say we have a windy day today.

Enjoy your Friday peeps!

She's back! If you've been to the clubs or listened to radio in the last few weeks, you've probably heard it and the remixes of it. Today's song: Britney Spears - Till the world ends

GUN EM' DOWN

Today I went to Vestfossen to visit my grandparents. On the way I met my friend Silje who was on her way to Kongsberg to her father. I did take a picture, but can't be asked to get my camera, sorry xD Me and my grandfather went to the shooting range. I've barely shot a gun before, only some air guns, so no proper guns.

I REALLY enjoyed it and I was very good at it (also according to my grandfather).

My best score:
- Lying down with box: 47/50 points
- Lying down without box: 48/50 points
- Standing up: 38/50 points

He meant that I had probably inherited the family skill. It's a miracle I haven't shot more guns considering my WHOLE family have and I'm not kidding. Mother's side: mum, step-dad, grandfather, grandmother and uncle. Father's side: dad, grandfather (Norwegian champion for MANY years), aunt and uncle (professorial soldier) That's not counting the family members that are dead, then the list would be very long.

No, I'm not as pale as I look... I borrowed one of my grandfathers shooting jackets. Like I said, I really really enjoyed it and I'm definitely going to do it more times :D It's a incredible feeling, aiming, pulling the trigger and the smell of fresh gun powder after your shot.

Have a great Thursday and go out and shoot some stuff (not people though)!

TRULTEMOR

I got the news today that one of my old classmates from college/high school had passed away last night.

Hvil i fred Steffen <3 Du vil bli savnet! /
Rest in peace Steffen <3  You will be missed!

My thoughts goes especially to his girlfriend (and of course his family), which I also went to college/high school with :(

__________________________________________________________________________

I did my exercise today and as a "penalty" for not doing them yesterday I went for a 40 min run, instead of a 20 min :D

Spent most of my day with Christiane, or Trulte as I call her. She asked if I wanted to join shopping and you know me, I never say no to shopping. I didn't buy anything else than some nuts and a calzone. Christiane on the other hand used 3500 kr/£395 today. She's going to His Majesty The King's Guard; the Royal Guards annual ball since her boyfriend, Hansa, is a guard for the king. Then she needed a fancy ballroom dress, so we went shopping and this was the result:

It's beige and really lovely. She's of course going to style and accessorize before the ball, which is not before 21st of May, so plenty of time. In the meantime Hansa have to learn ballroom dance and etiquette and that means that he have to teach Christiane too. Good luck xD She told me some of it, like he can never leave her side even when talking to others. She can't go to the restroom alone, he has to escort her (and wait outside). If he needs to go to the restroom, she has to accompany him cause she can't be left alone. I know, weird, but still it's old fashioned and fun ;)

After shopping we headed for Christiane's mothers new apartment, very nice. She just moved in on Friday, so barely anything unpacked yet. We bought mini-dry toast and cream cheese for dinner, we ate 36 of them. REALLY GOOD! Probably gonna see her more during my the holiday and hopefully Hansa too, if get's leave from the army.

See yah!

CITY TIME WITH SIS

Went to Drammen (city near me) today to meet up with friends and family. Stopped by my old college/high school to say hello to people, both students and people that work there. It's good to stop by some times and chit chat. Also caught up with one of my mates which I haven't seen in almost a year, so nice.

Then I met up with one of my sisters, Henriette, in town. We went for shopping, lunch/dinner and general gossip. Poor thing, she had a cold so she got out of bed and had some Paracetamol's just to meet me. She need white clothes for Sensation which is coming to Oslo soon, 16th of April. A couple of my other friends said they were going to, but I'm not. I barely shopped anything, only two boxes of hair wax from H&M cause I had a gift certificate (100kr/£10) there that I need to use. Gonna try to see her plus my other sister Thursday/Friday maybe.

Me and my sister spotted these! Cool! I almost bought one for my younger sister, but then I realized that she really doesn't need it xD

Was thinking of heading back when Christine (right) and Nina texted me. She'd seen on Facebook that I was in Drammen and asked me me if I wanted meet. I went to primary school (1-5th grade) with these lovely creatures. Christine and her twin sister, Charlotte, are almost like my sisters, grew up together. Gonna try to stop by their place on Friday maybe.

I didn't feel that good when I woke up today, didn't sleep that great, so there were no exercise today. But I decided to swop my days around, so no rest tomorrow. Then it's 20 min bike and 45 min abs, before some work, then I'm gonna go and meet Christiane.

Seen Katy Perry's new video? Thought it was pretty cool! Some cool effects. Watch it in HD!

CHILDISH

I almost had a heart attack earlier. I'm not kidding, my heart skipped a beat or two. Was on my way out of my room and just looked at my good old bullet board by coincidence. Then I spotted a credit card bill from my Norwegian bank and I knew that was at least 3 months old. I imagined the 3-4 months interests if it had been some left to pay. But then I remembered, hang, I don't have my creditcard anymore and I looked at the bill. Was just a empty automatic bill they send out sometimes... PHEEEWWWW Today I've been working on my film, which takes a lot of time...

Coffee Coffee Coffee !

Shortly after I moved to Swansea, my stepdad bought a Nescafè coffee machine, so whenever I'm here it's coffee time. It's so lush! Cappuccino, Mocha, Cafe Latte, Choccoccino, coffee and probably some more I don't know about. Add a hint of Cinnamon and I'm in heaven.

HAHA! I just realized today that I've got the most childish room ever for a 19 (soon 20) year old.... Sleeping Beauty, My little Pony, Disney and Kaptein Sabeltann posters on my roof + Winnie the Pooh all around the room + a rocking horse in the corner + my bed sheets are currently Tom & Jerry. I do have an explanation, when I moved to Swansea my sister got my room and her old room was turned into a guest room/exorcise room, where I now sleep. Most of my stuff is stored in here, so it's technically my room. Like I've always said You can't be an adult before you can dare to be childish, so probably gonna let it stay like this.

BTW, TRON Legacy, which I mentioned yesterday, was good so I recommend that one. Today I'm gonna watch TRON from 1982. TRON Legacy builds on the story from the first one, but you can easily see it without having seen the first (says the director in a interview).

In true spirit of my childish room, a song the people that grew up in the 90s should know. When I look back at it now I just laugh xD This song was played EVERYWHERE, TV, radio and in stores.

SUNDAY RUN

Got up around 11 o'clock, after not falling asleep before 03:00... Just because I slept 14,5 hours the day before, jetlag. Tomorrow is Monday, so that I'm gonna get up at 8, cause I'm determined to keep a good rhythm of sleep in the "holiday" month I've got and get all my work done. But before work starts, it's the start of my fitness plan.

Did a 40 min 5 km/3,2 miles, run today, so technically I've already started. Was a bit strange strange jogging besides the snow, but in a good way. Was 13 degrees today and the forecast said sun and 12 degrees from Thursday - Tuesday, so the snow is probably gonna go within a couple of weeks. And to those of you that may wonder, I don't live in the north even though we still have snow, I live in village 40 min away from the capitol.

Took this on my jogging round
Grandma and grampa came for dinner today. Nice to see them again, face-to-face, been talking with them on Skype, but not the same. Mum makes the lushest apple cake ever and mix that with vanilla ice cream and I've found paradise.... yuuuuummmmmmyyy

Sorry for the not so heartbreaking/life changing post, can't always have that. Tonight I'm gonna watch TRON Legacy, as soon as my "fully legal" program finishes, now at 44,2%, so maybe tomorrow?

TOURIST IN NORWAY

Was so tired last night after traveling, so I slept 14,5 hours and guess what? I'm sleepy again.
So weird being back home in Norway, but gonna be used to it after a day or two. Was like this for Christmas too. It's just normal everyday stuff like for example language and currency, today when we went to a shopping center I said Sorry and Thanks without thinking xD To put it in simple terms, I feel like a tourist in my own country, which is weird I know, but that's how I feel. It was a special feeling yesterday when I got out my "Norway-box" with all of my Norwegian cards, keys and money in and put all my UK cards, keys and money, like changing personality. Haha! I hate not having a car! I live out in nowhere with a bus an our and few late buses to get back. I can borrow one of my parents cars sometimes, but they need them for work. Right now I feel like the 17 year old me and living in my parents house again, yeah...

Welcome to the Northpole. I was really hoping the snow would be gone before I came....
I've got a whole month here...... so have to do some uni work too. So gonna work on my new film and do a assignment, film review. Hope to finish editing within April. Other stuff I'm doing, meeting up with some lovely people. REALLY REALLY looking forward to that, haven't seen them since Christmas and some since the summer :D Was so good seeing one of my little sisters again, Christina, she was so happy to see me. Gonna see the rest of my sisters during April, 6 in total. My parents was also happy to see me :D Gonna try to exercise every day, starting Monday, to prepare for the summer. Now I've got the time, so gonna take advantage of that.

And me and Johan are going to The Gathering '11 from the 19th to the 25th to work in the broadcast unit as camera operators. The Gathering, or TG, is four days of file sharing, designing and/or gaming with over 5200 people and a 100 Gbit/s internet connection. It's a great experience to have and something that looks good on your résumé! It's unpaid, but they pay for food and accommodation, so good enough for me. Looking forward to this :D

Today I'm just going to indulge myself and watch a film and eat crisps! Yes I know, so gonna go for a run or use the bike tomorrow :D

One of my favourite bands, maybe THE one, Green Day <3 ! Thought that this song would be fitting now and I LOVE it!

GOODNIGHT NORWAY

Finally after 13 hours of traveling home in Norway, where I'm gonna stay for a month :D But I'm also gonna be working on uni work since I'm staying here for so long.

So sleepy.... I've slept 2 hours last night/today, so I'm going to bed now. I know I said I was gonna post what my plans are for the easter, but I'll do that tomorrow. Same with pictures from today.

Good night peeps!
