PRIDE PARADE 2011 IN OSLO

Me and Marianne went to Oslo (capitol) today to shop, eat and enjoy ourselves. And also to watch the Pride parade 2011, marking the end of the "gay week" in Oslo. Very amusing ;)

I'm proud to come from a country where everyone is almost equal, LGBT people can get married in the church, they can give blood, have kids and yeah. The new National Chief of Police department is married to a man and has one kid and expecting one more. That's great! In my picture series you'll see several proud and happy LGBT parents. A the very beginning of the parade the Minister of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion is walking, showing that the government only see humans, not orientations. The minister also wants to change the law so that it will be easier for LGBT people to adopt. The law now states that the parents have be approved by the origin country's law. Meaning f. ex. that a Norwegian LGBT couple can't adopt from several African countries.

Stopped by TGI Fridays after that and had Jack Daniels burger. Well, TGI Fridays in Oslo nothing to jump up and down about. Of course we could have come on a day when a bad chef was working, but that's no excuse. I also met a couple of friends in Oslo, which I haven't seen in like a year which was very nice :D I didn't shop anything, but my friend Marianne certainly did, hehe!

Today's song: Glee (Lady Gaga) - Born this way
